Hi,
On core switch 6509 configure this dhcp pool:
ip dhcp pool CCTV network 10.151.0.0 255.255.240.0 default-router 10.151.1.253 lease infinite
The VLAN interface:
interface Vlan108 description CCTV Network ip address 10.151.1.254 255.255.240.0 end
Passing this VLAN to edge switch C2960X and C3560, the devices are getting the IP with no issue, but after each restart, they get new IP.
I can see from "sh ip dhcp binding" the lease expiry is infinite.
What is the issue? how to fix it?!
Thanks,

Hello!
Can you say me how is the bootp server command configured in your device?

Sorry, I did not figure what is your request.
I'm talking about Axis CCTV cameras, and there is a checkbox to enable the DHCP, that's all. The issue we have over 600 cameras, which registered in the NVR. Sometimes some of them reboot due electrical issue, and they get new IP, and due that the camera won't be registered in the NVR.

Thanks for your reply. That is exactly my problem too.
When some PCs reboot - although the lease is infinite - they get a new address and not the old one !

Hi, did anyone solve this issue?
I also use a 6509 as a dhcp server with infinite lease and the PCs do get an ip address but unfortunately they do not get always the same but instead they are getting new one.
Any ideas?
Thank you,
Ditter

Hello,
since you are probably not using a database, did you disable conflict logging (no ip dhcp conflict logging) ?
What is the output of:
show ip dhcp pool
?

Thank for your reply.
No, i am using a dhcp database which is on the 6500.
Conflict logging is enabled and i get conflict messages on the syslog, for example:
Error Message:
Oct 25 13:38:32 bsw : %DHCPD-4-DECLINE_CONFLICT: DHCP address conflict: client 0128.d244.02a1.1a declined 192.168.24.250.
bsw#sh ip dhcp pool
Pool Vlan-4 :
Current index IP address range Leased/Total
192.168.25.30 192.168.24.1 - 192.168.25.254 283 / 500
