I see a posting (just a few days ago) from you which discusses ISDN TA connection failure, is this a separate issue or the same?
If its a call-in from the ISDN TA then will like to see the config of the dialer interface (which should have dialer pool 2, binding to dialer pool-member 2 under serial2/0:15).
I understand that nothing changed on the RAS config but please verify that nothing changed on the TACACS+ as well (in the previous posting we see an error LCP: Received AAA AUTHOR Response CANCELLED , for some reason the TACACS.
If its an analog call then the config looks fine (execpt that it's configured for callback) & we will need to see some debugs.
Question, does the controller look clean?
If you are having this problem for nearly 3 weeks now then I would recommend you open up a TAC case to expedite resolution.
Thanks, Mak

Hi Mak,
Look it is separate case that ISDN, but it's on the same access server,it's analog case.
I asked to check the E1, but they reply that no problem according to this E1, i changed E1 module and Modem module but the problem still, I'm convinced that the problem from the E1, but i have to proof that!
According to TACACS, i checked this case by disable the authentication through TACACS to be on the same AS locally.
I will post debug messages later.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Many Thanks

Hi Mak,
I changed the slot which was placed the E1 module to another, and it seems that the situation is better. I hope it was the problem...
I will update you after few days testing...
Many Thanks

A bad controller card or even modem card can surely cause these problems, however being intermittent in nature they are slightly difficult to troubleshoot. Please do keep us posted with your findings.
Thanks, Mak

Hi MAK,
look, it seems that the problem solved. We Have Access Server for dialup access and ISDN Access for remote sites(virtuall Dialer interfaces at the access server).
First, we change the modem module,E1 module and check the E1 itself and still the problem exists... after alll debugs and troubleshoot we separate dialup access on the new Access Server and the ISDN on the old Access Server... It seems that this problem solved and everything O.K now...
Thank You MAK
