I have a customer that is running EIGRP across their entire local and WAN network. Most of their sites are connected via frame and there is no problem with route distribution. Two sites, however, are connected via a third party provider with at least one router on the provider side between the two sites. Is there any way to replicate EIGRP across the provider's router? If an encrypted tunnel was created between the two customer routers, would it then see them as neighbors?
Setup:
Customer Router 1 - EIGRP
Provider Router - No EIGRP
Customer Router 2 - EIGRP

IPSec itself can not carry EIGRP packets because doesn't support multicast but GRE+IPSec tunnels may be a solution. Check this:

Another solution is that if security /encryption is not a must only for routing redistribution purposes maybe your ISP can carry EIGRP routes between those two sites via route tagging.
Or if the ISP is providing MPLS VPN service it'll be the solution.

Or if encryption is not required a simple GRE tunnel would be able to carry EIGRP between the two parts of the customer network.
