EIGRP, STP, BackboneFast, and UplinkFast

In a purely L3 environment w/gig links and routed interface in a 4507 utilizing EIGRP, do I still need to use BackboneFast and UplinkFast?

Distro layer = 8x L3 4507 w/ redundant Sup IV.

Links= redundant Gig fiber LX connections

Core = 2x 4507 w/ redundant Sup IV.

BackboneFast and UplinkFast are used to enhance Spanning tree reconvergence time. If the enviroment is purely L3, you'll not need BackboneFast and UplinkFast features and they are not applicable
