Good night.
I wrote because I have a problem in my company, because when I restart the main switch, enter rommon mode, my computer is a 6509, Cisco Catalyst 6000 Series Switches, 12.1 (13) E10.

The error message is self-explanatory. You need to upgrade the IOS of your switch.

Hi Kevin,
The software forced crash might be an indication of several things:
- The switch is attempting to load an IOS which is corrupt. In this case, we might need to
load a new one, or attempt to load an IOS on a disk0: or slot0: after formatting on another nativesupervisor.
- The boot statements are incorrectly configure in ROMMON, and the switch attempts to load
IOS version which doesn't exist.
- The problem might be related to a HW failure on the supervisor module.
