Re: Error message at booting 7206

I just got a 7206 with the following configuration:

2 1-Fast Ethernet portadaptors

1 4-Ethernet portadaptor

1 4-Serial portadaptor

48MB RAM

8 MB RAM

and i get the following message as soon as i boot it up...and the message keep on repeating itself and nothing else ever comes up.

any ideas please??

and the samething over and over again...

I've taken out each port adaptor one by one until there was nothing in there, but still same thing.

I also took out the memory cards and same thing.

why dont you go into Rommonitor mode and check the value of the config-register

Looks like you have problems with memory. First chekc if you received the box with IOS image loaded.

If not you need to follow special procedure to load the IOS for the first time into the memory. From Cisco Web Site check Rom monitor and use TFTP download command.
