Hi guys!
Just one question, i have a router, with 2 serials with frame-relay on it (working as DTE), and other serial with HDLC, but in order to configure QoS on a 4th. serial, i`ve got to configure frame-relay switching on this other serial...my question is...does this affect the other serial interfaces?
I need to add something like this:
!
frame-relay switching
!
interface Serial0/1
description xxxxxxxx
no ip address
encapsulation frame-relay
frame-relay traffic-shaping
frame-relay intf-type dce
!
Thanks!!

Here's a link regarding FR Switching:
The above link has a 'hybrid' example that implies this is possible. I seem to recall successfully trying this in a lab environment, but maybe someone else can confirm.
Good Luck!

I've got a 2523 that I use as a frame-relay switch, and as regular HDLC connections to other routers. The frame-relay switching command just seems to allow you to use the fram-relay route command. Without frame-relay switching, the router wwill not allow you to use frame-relay route.
