i have 4 isdn line to backup 1 mbps leased line.

Hi All,

Still can't solve my problem.

My Question:

If the leased line down, the 1st isdn line will back up. Let say the 1st isdn backup line cannot support the load, how can i configure the 2nd line to backup load of the 1st isdn line? Same goes to 3rd and 4th isdn line, i want them to back up load if the backup line cannot support the load.

I don't want all the backup line to up at the same time. It should up when back up load needed.

Please Help. Thanks

You need to group all the 4 bri lines in to one dialer rotary group along with ppp multilink and use "dialer load-threshold xx" command so that additional bri channels will be added once load increases beyond specified load in that command.

Here is the link which discuss that config

For more on "dialer load-threshold xx", pl. visit

thanks!
