How to verify ACL is processed in harware

Is there a way to verify that an ACL/ACE will be processed in harware or software on the 6500 ?

Hi,

on the catalyst 6500 you have two different acl merge algrithm. ODM (Order Dependent Merge) or OIM (Order Independent Merge). On Supervisor IOS systems, or on the MSFC in a hybrid system, issue the show fm summary command to see which

interfaces are enforcing ACLs in hardware (ACTIVE) and which are enforcing ACLs in software (INACTIVE).
