Hi
Is it necessery to enable, for example, HSRP and STP in Layer 4 Catalyst Switch, for switching and forwarding in redundant network envionment? ( redundant switches, links ...)

Not really sure what your asking here, but I'll try and clarify a bit.
HSRP would provide redundancy on your default gateway, so that one of multiple exits from the network can "share" the same IP address so if one goes down the other will take over.
STP will provide you the ability to put redunant links in your LAN while preventing network loops from forming.
They really don't have too much to do with eachother, and simply enabling them will not ensure redundancy without the proper structure behind it. (ie: you could have a single router running HSRP and if that router died, nothing will happen. Same with enabling STP on a network that has no redundant links wouldn't get you anywhere)
