Import from Remote NMS question

Under RME/Administration/Inventory/Import from Remote NMS, it appears to be a function that "should" work but does not. The Help file seems to indicate that if you have RME running on NT, you would be importing from a UNIX box. The docs for this feature don't say much.

I have two CW2k boxes. Both are NT but the 2nd box was installed to move everything over so that it could act as primary while the 1st was upgraded to Win2k. This is all because we purchased version 4 of CD One, and when we added the RWAN package, needed Win2k. So, the plan is to move everything over to the 2nd server, bring up the first with Win2k, install CD one version 5 and then add the version 4 (DFM, etc.).

What would be the best way to get the archive of the 1st box over to the 2nd?

For the first issue related to Import from Remote NMS, have a look at:

For the 2nd question, you cannot use old versions of CW2K with new ones. Meaning that if you have DFM 1.1 with 4th Ed, it will not install on 5th Ed. The new bundle will come with the new versions of all the apps within say RWAN which you can use.
