IOS help pls?

I have 2522 series router. i want to upgrade the IOS i have downloaded file . So pls let me know that how can i perform this to upgrade my router.

Also pls tell this that this file has what version.

I am already using IOS 12.0(5)

Pls clear me that c2500-c-l.120-4.bin this is old from my current router version or latest one.

Hello,

you are currently running the Remote Access Server (RAS) feature pack version 12.0(5) which was released about one year later than version 12.0(4), so upgrading in this case was not do you any good.

If you find a higher version, the procedure is to connect your router to a computer running a TFTP server and to copy the new image to flash with the command ´copy tftp flash´, check this document for complete instructions:
