Hi,

We have a Cisco 1751 router in our organisation which is having Cisco IOS IP Base software in it. Currently we are facing problems like traffic being generated all of a sudden choking the full network. We doubt it might be because of the IOS. Is there any patch available in Cisco IOS ? If yes.....where i can find them or how to download them ?

Kinldly help me in resolving this issue.

Raman,

Sounds like more of a configuration problem rather than IOS. "Patching" or upgrading your IOS, whilst a lways a good idea, may not resolve your issue if it is external to router software.

I suggest posting your current configs (remove sensitive info) as well as the problem output/s

Can u tell me the procedure for upgrading the IOS from older version to newer version? What is the procedure for upgrading and does it require any additional payment ....?
