Hi,
I have unexpectedly deleted ios image and when i rebooted the router it went to rommon prompt. Now i have downloaded the ios image. How can i transfer it to router and get it up.

whts the router model in which u r trying to upload the ios ? or try out searching rommon recovery for the CiscoXXXX in cisco site u will find out enough links to make the router up.

If the router has a slot for a PCMCIA flash card you could copy the IOS image to the flash card installed in a working router, then move the flash card to the router in ROMMON and boot. You'll need to use the "dev" command to find the device name, then the "boot slot0:filename" command to bring the router up.
If you've not the option for using PCMCIA then you'll have to resort to the Xmodem Console Download Procedure (http://www.cisco.com/en/US/partner/products/hw/routers/ps259/products_tech_note09186a008015bfac.shtml)
