Hello,

I´ve installed CiscoWorks LAN Management (LAN Manager 3.3) without error in a Windows 2000 Advanced Server machine. After authenticating in the application I try to open the topology map of my network. The progress bar stops and i don´t get any result. In the Java console I get the following java exception:

Any help yould be appreciated.

Hi,

Did you install the latest IDU's and Patches? There's one IDU or Update (I don't remember by head) that is needed when you use JRE 1.4.1

Appears to be java incompatibility, you need to install the latest IDU and the LMS mega patch, (don't have the URL top of my head but you can get it from CCO) without the LMS mega patch, java 1.4 will not work unless you unistall 1.4 and install 1.3.1 JPI.
