I have a WS4014 Sup III engine in the 4006 box. All along i thought 4006 is CLI based, but this one is a IOS based. Been trying to find info on how to get the routing done between VLANs but can't find one. Can anyone point me to the right direction?

After you create your Layer 2 VLANs, create a corresponding Layer 3 VLAN interface and assign it an IP address

Meaning there no need to do any routing configuration on my part? After L2 & L3 VLANs interfaces are created, the switch will auto-route?

To route between the VLANs locally, you do not need any routing protocol. It is similar to directly connected interfaces of a router. If you have another router and want to route to it, you'll need to use static routes/routing protocols
