Hi Hartmut,

The Switch start to negotiate with LACP PDU in fast mode (every 1 sec.)

and when the FEC/GEC is stable e.g. running "in Use" slow LACP PDUs are used (every 30 sec.).

have a great day,

Andy

Link Aggregation Control Protocol data unit

It may be the device send with fast and slow request for LACPDU.

1) LACP_Activity is encoded in bit 0. This flag indicates the Activity control value with regard to this link. Active LACP is encoded as a 1; Passive LACP is encoded as a 0.

2) LACP_Timeout is encoded in bit 1. This flag indicates the Timeout control value with regard to this link. Short Timeout is encoded as a 1; Long Timeout is encoded as a 0.

Hi Andy,

many thanks for help. Now I understand this matter clearly. I'm going to remember you as an excellent teacher in Hamburg.

Have a nice day,

Hartmut
