Link Up/Down message can not be logged

Hi All,

I'm using c4500 with IOS 12.1.20EW2,

my problem is, I can not see link Up/Down on my logg

as far as I know in CatOS this will be log automatically... need help

Hi Ali,

You can do the following:

Switch(config)#int range fastEthernet 3/1 - 48

Switch(config-if-range)#logging event link-status

Switch(config-if-range)# end

Switch#

This will allow you to see the link up/down msgs
