Actually, I'm having a problem before I get to the CD One installation. I'm upgrading from LMS 2.0 to 2.1. A patch needs to be installed before the CD One installation, which is where my problem is. I've copied the patch file w/o problem, but when I enter the cwjava command that suspends the jobs, I receive an "unable to load JVM" message.
I am running LMS 2.0 on Win2k version 5.0 SP2, Java version 5.0 release 5.0.0.3805.
Is there somplace I can look that will explain the problem? Or is there an easy answer that I'm missing?

Hi,
If you feel that you do not have a schedule job, then just do a upgrade as it is. there should not be any problem. The best thing is to backup the database
Backing Up Your Data
To backup the data:
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Step 1 Access the CiscoWorks2000 desktop and log in. For information, see the "Accessing the Server" section and the "Logging In" section in the User Guide for CiscoWorks2000 Server.
Step 2 Select Server Configuration > Administration > Database Management > Back Up Data Now.
The Back Up Data Now dialog box appears.
Step 3 Enter the pathname of the target directory. It is recommended that you use a different directory from the directory where CiscoWorks2000 is located, for example, C:\backups.
Step 4 To begin the backup, click Finish. This process could take some time to complete.
For more information, see the online help.
and then upgrade..
Regarding the java error, most probably you might have not install the java patch for cd-one 4th edition.
Thanks,

I wasn't sure how important this step would be after the upgrade was complete. I didn't want to skip it and regret it later, so I asked the question. I already did the backup, so now its on to the upgrade.
Thanks for the help.
