Microsoft IGMP Multicast and Cisco IGMP

I have a VMWARE server and it was connected to the network using IGMP Multicast. The server is running MS Windows 2003. I have to add an ARP entry for the server. When I do a show arp I get no VLAN for that device. All the other VMWare servers are running normal Windows Multicast with no problem. Is there any incompatibility with MS IGMP multicast and Cisco SW3750 - Gigabit port?

Thanks in advance.

Is the NIC in the affected server different than the NICs in the servers that work properly. Some NICs do not support VLAN tagging from the host. You wouldn't see this if the VLAN tag is being added by the switch it is connected to.

I think I might be missing something, though. I don't see why IGMP would be affecting VLAN membership at all...

NIC is the same. As soon as I implement the normal MS Multicast it starts to work again. I also had to add the entry for all my core swicthes (Layer 3) so I covered all possible routing issue. I will be testing next week again with new intallation.
