You can use a back to back cable to simulate a T1 connection. From one of our internal websites -
Connecting a t1 cable to a MIP card .
t1 cable pinouts needed for the MIP card :
1, 3 , 9 , 11
back to back connections
Need to set clock to internal clocking :
follow pins should be connected :
1---to -----9
3---to --- 11
sho controllers slot# t1 on MIP card .

Thanks for your reply. Can I do that with integrated CSU/DSU module or I have to use the old routers that
have no integrated CSU/DSU (like 2500 series router)? Thanks.
router#show controllers serial 0/0
Interface Serial0/0
Hardware is PowerQUICC MPC860 with Integrated FT1 CSU/DSU module

It should work if you cross 1-4 and 2-5 on the rj-45 pins.
