Hi, I'm graphing network traffic using MRTG. The graph showing the traffic on an physical interface (ie. int fa0/1) in the Catalyst 3550 shows up OK. But when I try to graph the traffic on an VLAN interface (ie. int vlan 3), the graph only shows some few kilobit of traffic, why? I know that the vlan carries Megabits of traffic.

May be due to packet drops the traffic is so less. Is the result same at different intervals of time??

All the VLANs seems to have near to no traffic at all at all times, when graphed using MRTG. But the graph for the physical interface is "correct". And I know that one of the VLANs carry a lot of traffic.

Hello, I know this is pretty old, but I see there is no solution, at least in this post. So, my problem is this, I have a switch with a interface vlan, when I see the counters of the interfaces it show 4611336 bits/sec, but in my MRTG web interface the traffic is absolute 0. How do I fix this? Is it my MRTG server or my switch?
