Here's my scenario. I have 2 Netware5 DHCP servers on 2 separate networks with the same scope setup on both servers. I have 2 ip helper-addresses on the client/workstation interface. Which DHCP server will the client's request for an address be answered from? It seems to always come from the helper-address listed first on the interface. Is this the case? Does anyone have any documentation regarding this setup.
Thanks in advance !!

It is my understanding that the Cisco router will forward the request to both helper addresses. It is then a race condition as to who responds first if they are configured as independent servers.

this is correct with my understanding dhcp also , the first one that answers
gets to assign the addresses .
