I had configure my router to NAT 2 external IP range.

NAT translation works fine. but, Problem arise when i need to telnet to the router.

i.e.:my Fa0/0 ip: 10.0.0.1, and my nat pool 10.0.0.10 - 10.0.0.20.

it seems the replying ip was taken from the NAT pool.

as a result, I can't even telnet to my router.

any one can help?

attached with my config file

thanks

Refer to the following document. It explains the steps for troubleshooting.

Hi Chloi,

Your config seems to be fine.

But in your config I cannot see any ip range starting with 10.x.x.x

Is it that you are trying to telnet to this router from some other router which has ip of 10.x.x.x on fa0/0 interface ???

Regards,

Ankur

Hi chloi,

The nat configuration looks fine. But we don't seem to find any of the interface on the router to be configured with 10.x.x.x network address.

u mentioned "i.e.:my Fa0/0 ip: 10.0.0.1, and my nat pool 10.0.0.10 - 10.0.0.20."

Is that the interface of another router?
