I configured basic NAT for a 1700. When I go and run
show ip nat trans I see outside & inside local and global transactions in the form of icmp and udp only - no tcp connections. Like I said b/4 I placed basic NAT&PAT statements so I could rule out NAT&PAT. The users can ping everything they desire but Internet Explorer times out. Should I focus on something else or does this seem to be a NAT/PAT problem. I also just have one access-list statement
access-list 1 permit 10.0.0.0 0.0.0.255 to let everyone and everything out(this is the only one that exists).

Often times complex troubleshooting issues are best addressed in an interactive session with one of our trained technical assistance engineers. While other forum users may be able to help, its often difficult to do so for this type of issue.
To utilize the resources at our Technical Assistance Center, please visit http://www.cisco.com/tac and to open a case with one of our TAC engineers, visit http://www.cisco.com/tac/caseopen
If anyone else in the forum has some advice, please reply to this thread.
