We are using 2620 router for accessing our ISP network. All of a sudden this router broke down. I connected this router through a console cable to my PC & tried to log in to the router. But I am getting following message & is flowing continuously
error: unexpected NM problem in Slot :1
Could anybody help me out on this.

What do you have in the nm slot, try to remove it in order to see if it will function without it.

Save the config if you haven't already, then pull the card with the power off, restart the router, and see if you can login via console. You problably should be able to. Also, not all modules are supported on a 2620. For example a NM-4T will not work, neither will 100Mb cards. If you are sure that the 2620 will support this card, then try and reseat it after you have veriufied that you have access via console with no NM installed.
Good luck,
Joe
