NTP did not synchronize

Hi, i use 7200 and 7500 router. i configure ntp server. but some of them are not synchronize. if there are, it will synch but with high value off-set. Most of the router is ok, but only some of them. why this thing hsppen?

I assume, you're trying to synchronize to a 'false ticker', i.e. a time source that is not reliable.

Your local NTP client will try to classify the time

source. If it shows too unreliable, maybe because it cannot be reached continously, it will degrade quality step by step. Try 'show NTP status' and give us a little more info about what it shows.

You need to configure router's local clock close the the standard time. Big difference will cause NTP sync either fail or long time to eventually synchronize. For further issues, please post "show ntp status" and "show ntp assoc detail"
