hello all
Is there a way to summarize within an area. Let's say i have an ABR R0 that's connected to area 0 and area 1. There are two more routers in area 1, R1 and R2. R1 have networks 10.1.0.0/16 and R2 have 10.1.16.0/16. Is there a way to summarize this so R1 only sees a summary route for 10.1.16.0/16 and vice versa...R0 is advertising summary of 10.1.0.0/16 into area 0. I can put R1 and R2 into their own areas but then i'll be sending all these /20s into area 0 and i don't want to do that...Hope this is clear..is there another way of doing this?
