Over-Length Problem ?

I have a LAN segment with over 100 meters long. Therefore, I use a switch to slove this over-length problem.

So, is the user on the LAN can communicate to each other ?

Will there be a collision, late-collision ?

Since a switch separates collision domains, you should be fine as long as no individual run (switch port to host, including patch cables) exceeds 100m.
