password recovery problems with Fujitsu notebook Hyperterm

I have successfully used the reboot & space bar method to do password recovery/reset on 2651's,

3662's, and 3745's, but I can't get it to work to any of half a dozen 1760's I have (new job). My Fujitsu laptop with XP doesn't do CNTRL-break or CNTRL-F6-break with any of them. I was able to do CNTRL-break with desktop PC using XP on a 1760. Suggestions?

you might want to try and install the latest version of Hyperterminal, see if that makes a difference:

HyperTerminal Private Edition version 6.3
