Periodic maintenance

I'm looking for the recommended periodic maintenance on Cisco switches and ASAs. We have 3850s, 9300s, 9500s and FPR 2110s. I looked at the documentation on the support website, but I didn't see anything about periodic maintenance.

This process change from organisation to organisationm and policies (how your deployment have availability the system).

Best Practice always update the IOS / Image what Cisco Suggesting all the time as part of Patch Manangment. (this required sometime downtime of the network)

below URL guide you :

https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/tech/availability/high-availability/tech-white-papers-list.html

Apologies if this not help you as you expected - as i mentioned this is Guidelines.

For routers, switches and WLC, reboot every 12 months but daily monitoring of the control-plane CPU and memory utilization.

Why specifically the control-plane CPU and memory utilization?  Because every NMS can monitor the data plane and some barely monitors the control-plane.
