Hello,
I want to make sure that the special RJ45 connectors that I am considering will fit side-by-side on a Cisco switch. What is the physical distance between ports on Cisco switches, or this switch in particular?

distance between switch ports on most switches is about 2mm

That doesn't sound right. The backshell of my RJ45 is 14mm wide. Looking at photographs, the distance can't be much different from that, either way.

you asked about the distance between the ports :)
the port itself should be 10mm wide

As you can see from the picture below the distance is about 2.10mm.
