Policy Based Routing over ATM

Topology is a c7206 with ATM 0c3 in IP network with Point to Point VPIs within our private network. Our Telco was suggesting internet access via policy based routing and ACL through ATM VPI/subinterface over the FastE- then connect into the firewall. Is this a feasable design within Cisco's security design?
