Problem with Cat 2950?

I have purchased new Cisco Cat2950 Switch. But i just want to know that when i make it up its LEDs on each port and activity ports are not displaying lights brightly.I mean dim LEDs, however switch is working fine each computer is able to connect. IOS is working fine but for watching LEDs we have to come too close to the switch.

Is it normal or something wrong with my switch so i claim its warranty?

Sounds like a manufacturing build defect. This can happen if the LEDs on the card don't line up properly with the holes in the from panel. (I've seen this effect on a Cat5000 blade, but never on a Cat29') I would challenge your supplier about it. If you can open the box without invalidating the local warranty, you can probably see whether they line up correctly.
