We have a 4507R switch connected to a router from a private-vlan promiscous port and due to some resons we want this port to be a 802.1Q trunk. But at the same time trunk must be promiscous port for private-vlan hosts? does it possible? and how? i'm a bit confused about this.
thanks

NO, this is not possible. A private-vlan trunk port cannot be a promiscuous port. There is only one command to make a port a private-vlan trunk or a promiscuous port and they are mutually exclusive.
