I use RME 3.5.
I add manually devices by name.
For example, rtr-rgw1, rtr-rgw2, rtr-rgw3
RME insists these are all aliases to the same device.
All IP addresses are off course different on these devices and no HSRP, so they don't even share a virtual IP. The names are defined in /etc/hosts, each with one of each router's Eth interface IP ( the server is Solaris ).

Great! I added the -a flag to DIServer as explained and now each device gets discovered as a unique one.
