I Have a Router Cisco 1601 R
and didn't have the .bin file
I got the file "c1600-nosy-mz.120-5.T.bin" but direct the problem.
I followed the corresponding passes, like these:
rommon 1 > confreg 0x2101
rommon 2 > reset
Router(boot)>
Router(boot)#copy tftp flash
Source file name? c1600-nosy-mz.120-5.T.bin
Router(boot)#
Router(boot)#configure terminal
Router(boot)(config)#config-register 0x2102
Router(boot)(config)#exit
Router(boot)#
Router(boot)#reload
But upon beginning this appear:
Router(boot)>
Router(boot)>enable
Router(boot)#
That could I make?
Help me please...

Not sure if you cut things out above or not. Did you try following the procedure on the link below?

Have you tried loading a different image to see if you get the same error upon bootup?

rommon 1> confreg 0x142
You must reset or power cycle for new config to take effect
rommon 2> initialize

Look like you maybe haing the same problem I'm haing.
See my post titleed '[invalid checksum]' dated 6JUN04. Do a show flash and see if you get an 'invalaid checksum' message.
I want to try to reload a different Image but I don't know where to get one for a 4500 router
