I'm using 2900XL with 2 servers connects to a flat vlan1 together with other servers. After i changed the 2 servers to become vlan 2, both servers are not able to go directly to the internet which before that is able to. they can however go to internet using proxy. Any help is very appreciated. There are no spanning tree or whatsoever. It's just a simple vlan setting.

Changing vlan implies that you change IP adress settings. Please check your default gateway setting for these servers.

Remember that VLAN's are seperate broadcast/routing domains. If you have a host on vlan 1 and a host on vlan 2 neither of them can talk to each other unless a router has interfaces attached to both vlan 1 and vlan 2. I hope that clears some things up but if not please provide the IP addresses of the routers, servers, and proxy server and which vlan each of these devices attach to and I can tell you what needs to be done.
