[show ip mroute] what does "stopped" mean at the outgoing interface timer?

Hi,

below is the "show ip mroute" output in question:

I would like to understand why is it showing "stopped" at the expiry timer for interface vlan 990? Does it mean no traffic being forwarded on the interface?

"Stopped" means that the RP sent a PIM register-stop message to the first-hop router (FHR) (the router closest to the source).  The register-stop message is sent by the RP if PIM has switched to the shortest-path tree and the RP no longer needs the FHR to send PIM register messages to register the source to the RP. The RP will also send a register-stop message to the FHR if no receivers want to join the group.

And what would it mean in a PIM-SM / SSM design (without RP) and with static IGMPv3? Would it then rather mean: "never", i.e. the entry never expires?
