So/t???

i have a NT1 PLUS B , it has U interface ,two line interface and a So/t interface. i connect the So/t interface to the 2600's isdn bri s/t interface ,but it didn't work.the isdn port on 2600 cann't get active at all.when i connect the 2600's ISDN port to a NT1 which has s/t interface,it work.

so what's the difference between s/t and So/t??

can 2600 work with the So/t interface???

Lei, could you please explain a bit more to us? While we all know BRI U and S/T interfaces, I think I am mainly confused with So/t interface.

If I understand correctly you are talking about the interfaces on a NT1, from the description it appears that the NT1 has:

• 1 U interface towards the exchange

• 1 ST interface for ISDN terminals towards the user (TE end).

• 2 a/b interfaces for traditional analogical terminals towards the user

• So/t interface…not sure what this does…..will need to know the NT1 vendor or they should be able to tell you what the functionality is.

You need to connect as follows: S/T interface on the NT1 is connected to the c2600 BRI port & the U port on the NT1 is connected to the BRI providers demark point.
