Sofware Upgrade on Cat4000 Fails

The software upgrade job failure message is:

Device cannot be locked for exclusive write access.

Software Upgrade cannot be performed on the device

Error Info Code: '4059'

Message: 'Device cannot be locked for exclusive write access. '

Action/Reason: 'Job Manager returned error: Error Code: 1 Message:

My question is, where can I start looking for a RME applicaition that's locking the device ? Could for example a Inventory Poller lock such a device ?

What version of RME is used 3.4 ? with the latest IDU 3.0 ?

RME 3.4 yes, IDU 2.0

Is this on Windows or Solaris?. Also did you installed RME 3.4 IDU 3.0 yet?. If not, then it'll be a good idea to install it as well.
