Recently I have a SOHO 71 in my possession. After configure VPDN enable without no success. I decided to reload IOS image. I use console download by using Xmodem. After success download, router reboot and then goes in cycle that keep rebooting itself with follow message.

Any thought would be greatly appreciated. Kevin Chen

This problem is caused by the following bugs:

CSCin20553 - Unable to load the soho71 image with 16 MB and the image crashes

CSCdz62947 - Memory:SOHO71 image reports insufficient memory with 16MB DRAM

The workaround is to

1. upgrade memory to 24 or 32MB

2. downgrade IOS

3. do not configure the vpdn enable global configuration command

Please advise what part number for memory upgrade

What version of IOS is available for downgrade?

Thanks.
