Can anyone tell me how to configure a SPAN port on a Catalyst 2900.

You don't really say what model Cat 2900 , is it a 2924 ? If so then you have to use the "port monitor" command on the interface that you want to monitor (span) on . You would think they could keep the terminology the same for everything huh ? :-)

Hi,

set span

Use the set span command to set up the port analyzer.

set span enable

set span disable

set span _mod/src_port dest_mod/dest_port [ rx | tx | both ]

set span _vlan dest_mod/dest_port [ rx | tx | both ]
