Hi: I have the following catalyst switches:
Catalyst 6500
Catalyst 4000
Catalyst 3560
Catalyst 3750
Is there any documentation in the form of a table that lists which of these support 802.1x and what are the IOS requirements?
Thanks
Ravi

Devang: for 6500 thatz exactly what I was looking for. But for 4500, 3560 and 3750 the pointers you provided are the actual steps to configure 802.1x. I am looking for something which says the minimum required IOS to be able to configure the 802.1x. The last 3 pointers have an IOS version for the title of document, but donot say that is the required level of IOS like the first pointer for 6500.
Thanks

Devang: this pointer is very helpful. One more question I have is the following:
I try to look for availability of "IEEE 802.1x - VLAN Assignment" for a 3560-I5-M. After I pick the feature and Platform, I see a number of realeases with different feature sets. What is this featureset? Shouldn't it just show one IOS or higher for a device.
Thanks in advance.

I know the commands were first introduced on 12.1(19)EA1 for the 3560. I have a customer running 802.1x on their 3560 with no problems.

for 3750: 12.2(25)SEE1 12.2(25)SED1 12.2(25)SEC2 12.2(25)SEB4 12.2(25)SEA 12.2(25)SE 12.2(25)FZ
12.2(25)EZ1 12.2(20)SE4 12.1(19)EA1d
for 4500: 12.2(25)SG 12.2(25)EWA5
hope you will get from above...
