i want to know whether cat 6000 switchs support vmps server.
following is from cisco document :
Catalyst 6000 family switches support VMPS client only. You must have a Catalyst 5000 family switch as the VMPS server to configure dynamic port VLAN membership.
but some other documents announce that cat 6000 support vmps server.
Please advice.
thanks

Sup1/2 for CAT4k supports VMPS server feature from 7.2 and later
http://www.cisco.com/univercd/cc/td/doc/product/lan/cat4000/relnotes/ol_1983.htm#161898
Sup3/4 does not support VMPS server feature yet.
