Anyone know of a good PC based software that can test throughput speeds between 2 end stations. I've got users complaining about poor DS3 performance and need to be able to test the link.

maybe you may want to use sniffer to characterize the network traffic . . . just a suggestion.

Try using one of the GUI FTP clients and transfer a big file. They will give you a ballpark in KBS transferred.

I've always used this utility and it is free. Learned about it from my instructor when I went to a fluke training class. What's nice about it is it has a lot of endpoints you can choose from for whatever host you have to test.
