UplinkFast over network with only four 2950

I Have 4 switches 2950 connected each one with the others three and one of them as a root.

1.- Can I activate UplinkFast in order to provide fast convergence in the network access layer after a spanning tree topology change?

2.- Should I activate UplinkFast only on the three wich are not the root?

3.- Can I have problems with this configuration (in terms of uncontrolled loop)

4.- What happen if the root switch is going down? IN that case one of the other three switches with UplinkFast enabled will be the new root.

This is not the recommanded us of uplinkfast, but I don't you will have any problems. Use RSTP (802.1w) instead - it supported by the 2950 - then you will get fast convergence.
