WCCP on 3550

Hi, im try to implement WCCP V1 using a Cisco 3550 Switch. I am able to see WCCP conectivity between the Switch and the Cache Farm. However when i try to access webpages (ex www.yahoo.com) they are not being redirected to the Caches. If I try accessing the IP of the switch using a webpage it is being redirected. So it appears that the Switch is only redirecting its own IP to the Cache Farm via WCCP. Please Advise.

I am not sure but does the 3550 support WCCP V1? I notice in the documentation it says "This software release supports only WCCP V2" and only a subset of WCCP V2 features are supported on the 3550.But I am definitly no expert here.I did get it to work with V2 though.

Another thing to check is make sure the cache engine is not configured to use GRE. The switch may not support it. V2 anyway.
