I am replacing a 1602 Router with a 1721. Can I use the WIC-1DSU-1T to replace my 4 wire 56k integrated interface?

The WIC-1DSU-1T can do fractional T1, but not 56/64. Even if you configure it for a single channel it will still be clocking at 1.54 mb/s.
You will need a WIC-1DSU-56K4.
