X25 SVC 0

We are trying to configure a serial interface in X25.

Our X25 subscription specifies that SVC 0 is used. All the X25

CISCO commands to configure the SVC range start with SVC 1, how is

possible to configure the cisco in order to use SVC 0 ?

I didn't found more informations on the cisco web site.

The x25 virtual circuit ranges configuration parameters can range from 1

to 4095 and virtual circuit 0 is not available.

In an x25 network the Logical Channel Number 0 (svc 0 in switched X25

environnement) can be USED (used by the network to carry only the

diagnostic packets) or can be UNUSED (available for use as others LCNs

numbers) and for example, in an IBM x25 NPSI sofware this option can be

specified.

Can somebody tell me if I can use the SVC 0 ?

Thanks in advance for your help!

I finally found the command !!!

"x25 subscribe lc0 two-way"

It seems to solve the problem.

But I do not understand why there are such masked commands.
